I know they are discontinued but that is 'too good to be true'.
Replacement visors are £35

Are they genuine?
Chinese plastic?

Very tempting.

Seems to be mostly older models and extreme sizes (XS or XXL) so presumably clearance and therefore maybe genuine. Some good deals for someone I suspect but not me with my average head - nice find.

They're genuine, they come direct from Bell as far as I can tell. Don't mind spending £35 on a visor if the helmet only cost me £50! Bought myself the M3X

Most are in small sizes but seem cheap if they fit!

These are not Bell Helmets as made in the USA, I understand a Belgium(?) firm has had the rights to make helmets under the Bell name but the US owners are starting to make helmets again in the USA - more retro style lids at the moment.

This looks like why the current range is being sold off very cheaply - not sure where these were made and how you will stand with spares etc.

That link is for Bicycle helmets, rather than motorcycles?

Bell USA have continued to make sportbike helmets all the way through, but to SNELL spec only - the Star and RS-1 being their current sport range, and the Star is supposed to be a very good helmet, by all accounts. Their European production has been licenced to a couple of different companies over time, but I was told by one of their retailers that they took the licence back last year, with a view to supplying the market themselves? Don't know what, if any truth there is in any of that though ......

So I had mine delivered yesterday, straight out of the box something looked wrong. The helmet was tiny, even though the sticker said 'M - 58', I slid it on my head and it was ridiculously tight, the bottom of the helmet just reached past my nose before the top of it hit my head. No idea what was going on there but I've packaged it up to send back!
