GET YOUR CRAP OUT OF THE SHED SALE

Post by billinom8s »

After throwing some ideas around last night it was suggested that a garage/shed/loft clearout sale might be a bit of fun.

We are pretty sure we can get hold of a carpark in Exeter for a small charitable donation.

Rough outline would be a small charge for your pitch and that's it, what you make on the day is yours.

You can sell what you like so long as it's bike related. This means no carboot sale additions :)):

There will be no traders allowed but if you wanted to you could stick a price tag on your bike, you never know.....

This would be held in the new year so you can get rid of your old stuff that you got new replacements for at Christmas.

I'll get smiler or Dynasangel to stick it on the facefook site and i'l also contact some of the other forums in the area to see if they want to join in.

So what do you reckon ?

I'll put a poll for 10 days to see what you all think.

Too far away! Would cost us 25 quid in fuel to get there and back. Don't know whether we'd make 25 quid + on bike bits just to break even. Might get close if I sold Sams R6 ;)

I think its a good idea! Unfortunately having just moved flat I've already cleared my shed of crap, the rest is mine, all mine my precious.......... :))

Depending when it is I might make the trip up, bits of GSXR crap always have a home with me! I might start a collection of old and useless general bike stuff as well.......oh....hang on....... :-s
Cut me in half and I'v got Suzuki written right through me!

Surely a random car park won't attract much interest outside of this forum.

How about speaking to Bridge or SP(?) and see if SWB can have the end of their car park so at least we're somewhere where bikers are already meeting.

As per my for sale ad, I have a loft full of bike mags to sell but would probably need to rent a van to get them there!
