SEO guys? can anyone help please ?

Post by Bullet »

Well my ecommerce site has been up and running for a good few months now without much luck! :((
I paid a guy to do the SEO on it and all he done was twitter and facebook links and apparantly some bad schoolboy error links.
Had a big company take a look and they said its all old school work that was done with the associated errors and probably hurt me more than helped.
So 2 things

1st, anybody out there who is any good at SEO? I kill and clean for a living, not IT
2nd, if you get the time maybe peeps here can simply go to the site to possibly help with the rankings? My school of thought is if loads of peeps go to teh site then google may see this and it may help. Dont have to look around it but go to the homepage?

Im sure there are some teckies on here that will possibly let me know if this will work or not or even if they can help!!

thanks in advance

Done, and it answered a question for me that I've been meaning to ask you about .......

I'd like to buy a humane mouse trap please - it would appear that a mouse has decided that the cupboard under the sink where the dog food lives is its personal pantry. Removed the biscuit type stuff and its taken to eating the labels/packaging on the tinned food .....
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....

Handle stressful situations like a dog - If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away

Provided it's a mouse a simple trip trap will do. Pop some chocolate in and leave it to do it's job!

For SEO basically you "just" need links to your site. If possible those links will be specific and the text will include something relevant. For example ant control and not here.

Where possible have headings which are also relevant (yours are from what I could see).

That and some relevant text is the bulk of the SEO. So try getting people to link to pages on your site from Facebook, Twitter, forums etc..
