New pay@pump terminals

Post by goatpants »

I have started localised installs today in Tesco's. So, you don't have to take your lid off when you fill up. I will let you know the where's and when's as I have left my tablet in the van. Done Penzance today and got Cambourne and Redruth to do this week and Truro, St Austell areas next.

Agreed. Had a discussion with a manager once ...... said if they were happy to ensure/guarantee the safety of my crash helmet, which cost more than 20x the value of what I was purchasing, then I would happily remove it. My helmet stayed on ......

Errr, weren't Penzance, Camborne & Redruth (and Helston) already pay at the pump? iirc, they actually seem to be working all of the time unlike the Shell garages.

And there's no petrol station at Tesco in Truro.

I never use the Pay@Pump Terminals as they so often have no paper in them to produce a receipt

Drive offs, no other reason. Little oiks on scooters mainly

Paper jams on all the old ones another reason for the update.

They are old, knackered and unreliable, and easy to get cloning/skimming devices attached.

There are still issues with some older Natwest cards, the new ones work with the bigger chip.

And I did say Truro area and not neccessarily Truro itself Badger. :)):
