First time on any bike was probably at the little off-road track they used to have at Trago Mills, Newton Abbott. I think i was about 10. Anyone else remember it ?

After that it was when I got my Fizzy at 16.

21 years young.
Few weeks before I did my CBT and Direct Access went on the back of a CBR600. We hit 130-ish somewhere out the back of Chard, scared the crap outta me, I'll never be pillion again. Being in control of the bike's where I'm happy.

Don't know if I sould tell the truth here!
Well OK then, it was when I was 7years old way back in 1963 on my dad's scooter. I remember my feet didn't touch the floor boards and I was wearing a cork (yes cork) crash helmet which did not fit.
I held on the the small strap around the seat for dear life. It was the only transport we could afford so we all took turns on the back to get around.
That's sister and mum. (yes it did take ages to get anywhere!!!!) Don't know any better when your a kid. (and I rememer real steamrollers doing tarmac and the circus marching throught town) Sorry got carried away TOLD YOU I WAS OLD!

Don't feel ashamed of steam rollers!!! i rember Winston Churchills funeral train going past the end of our road pulled by a Steam Train with real smoke.
Those were the days

For the real train spotters amongst us that was the Reading to Waterloo line inbetween Egham and Staines in Surrey

My first bike ride must have been at the age of 12, maybe a bit younger on a friends?? dads Harley Davidson. I wasn??t particularly impressed by 2 wheels and didn??t think much more about it.

Then when I was 19, I decided I wanted my licence, so I took lessons and got one. Not really sure what my motivations were, didn??t have any mates that had motorbikes, didn??t even watch racing on TV (other than F1) so no real influences there, just decided one day it would be a cool thing to do!

And I was right! :D
