Bristol Italian AutoMoto Festival 25-4-15

Post by TLS-Moose »

The streets in the centre of the old town get closed to traffic and filled with Italian bikes and cars of all ages and types. Usually a brilliant day out .......

Yah but you have to have an Italian bike this year if you are going to ride through the middle of it all

Just to be awkward, it looks like the weather might be about to break just in time for this ....... :(

Indeed :(

When I last looked it showed the rain coming in around 3-4.00pm, so I was going to chance it on the basis I'd be back home by then ........ But I see now the rain is forecast to arrive early/mid-morning!! If (and that's now a very big if) I go, I suspect it will be a decision made once I wake up on Saturday morning and a quick M5 blast ....

At 8.00 here, time to leave, it was steady rain. When I went out at 9.00 it had dropped to drizzle, but then stayed showery on and off all morning til around 3.00 when the rain came back steadier again. Would have got soaked going & coming back.

Glad folks closer had a great day though 8)

Was a great turnout. Loads of fab bikes and cars. Really like the Ducati Scrambler in the Riders tent! B-)
