It's surprising how well cold tyres hold on when you're not putting power or braking forces through them.

On the London Lands End trial we used to have a speed test in a car park in Bude, you were not allowed to put your foot down/out but even on trials tyres (harder Pirellis not Michelins) you were aware of your boots dragging the floor - OK bigger moto cross boots but it always surprised me how much it would lean under low/no power of the XR400.

Perhaps a few of us should club together and and get a CB500 or similar for couple hundred quid, fit crash protection and lower the gearing and have some fun.

see he's or she has put high rise bars on it for better control as being sat up right makes bike so much easier and more natural to chuck about but on the flip side fair play that's some skill and confidence
