Bloody hell some Phil Bevan hatrid coming out here I feel. I realise that I am not a track day god and not the quickest in the paddock but can I just say that having gone for 3 years on the trot I love the track and think it totally flows from start to end, think it's great fun.

Yes they do the 2 lap warm up but that's so you don't crash or have some nutter crash into you.
Yes they do do a long safety briefing but that's cos they get people that are total pregnant goldfishies that think they are the next Josh Brookes and want to carve the shit out of you on every corner and they don't want this to happen as they want everybody to be safe.

Basically they don't take no shit.

And me for I I feel better knowing they have got an eye on safety.

Yes no limits don't do it and yes they have more sessions but it's still a bloody good day for the money and and great track.

Come on......... give um a break and let's go and have some fun............

Wel I'm going just to see if I like it. Personally I feel 2 sighting laps is a pain in the arse as my tyres will have cooled down possibly. On top of that it's frustrating to have sighting laps every sessions as it means nearly 2 sessions is made up of just sighting laps to which I've paid for track time not follow the sheep. It's a fun day not an army outing. On top of that I personally don't think having sighting laps every session will help keep the red flags down but the opposite as may be a lot of frustrated riders eager to get off once sighting laps done and as we will all be bunched up the flow won't be there and possible accidents
As for the long 45 minute briefing, well can't be any worse than the repetitive jokes and comments from the Welshman at Llandow but it's what it is. I think it can be fitted in a 20 minute session.
But as I said I'm giving it a go, if I like it I will return again, if I don't I won't and will choose alternative track events. I'm not mocking his day nor am I recommending it. But freedom or speech and all that
And who the feck is josh Brooke's

Chill out, it's only a bit of banter on a forum thread. If you don't like it don't read it! :D :ymhug:

I'm sure peeps will make their own choices and are not sheep. We all have opionons but I'm sure we can make our own choices. Count to 10 and relax. I take it your coming?

;;) I am. That's why I've already paid the money and chosen my group. Decided how I'm going to do the day and as stated will see if I like it. If I don't then I won't go back! Think that took the 10 count to say

I really like the Phil Bevan days and will do as many of them as I can this year. 2 sighting laps is way better than a yellow for a few laps mid session or a red and session lost. Bet if your warmers or genny packed up you'd be thankfully of those two sighting laps :))

Was going to do today but they didn't run it due to low numbers and the expected weather forecast wasn't great.

Chill and enjoy the track time.

You paying up Sam?? .... Payment to me, similar to Si doing Llandow, to get our swb's discount. 15 or more we get it for £89 but need the £99 up front.
Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..
