Hi all, just bought an old kasawaki gtr1000 to put a sidecar on, but its got a different fairing on it. i want to get fairing lowers but cant identify what fairing it is. there are no markings and it is plastic of some form. can any of you help? cheers rob

Having another look, I think it it likely to be an after-market job. The headlamp cover is the giveaway as any OEM fitting will have the original lamp through the fairing not covered by another piece of plastic.
My reckoning is, is that it is a 1980's retro fit...there were a fair few of 'em around then!

Like I said before, it's a Powerbronze fairing - remember it from a catalogue I had from when my YPVS was fitted with their Endurance Fairing (complete with twin Cibies not the later horrid mini headlights).
If I remember correctly, the upper fairings were pretty universal but different lowers were offered depending on bike - for the Voyager the lowers may be slimmer for a NTV650 compared to a GSX1100G - this fairing was a Suzuki approved option for the latter.
I'm not sure but you may find the lowers may fit different uppers within the Powerbronze range (if that makes sense).
M&P were a big dealer for these in the day, I know M&P now are different to the '80s but might be worth a call.
