Thanks for the PM Mellow. I'm not going to be able to make Sunday. Won't have wrapped up work probably before Saturday morning so I won't be ready to go on hols before middle of next week.

Who the hell writes these scripts ? We had two incidents that I've never seen before.

A stalwart fellowship of 5 men and a hobbitses braved the slopes of Mordor in quite inclement weather. All dealt with misfortunes and weather with excellent humour. Thanks all, especially Swainers for BMing.

Book coming out later... [-(

In the 3rd part of the trip we had a Bonne taking in water through the air filter. Then at the final (farewell) stop a CBR 600 decided to set off it's alarm on a permanent basis. Kept going off all the way down the M4 to his house.

I've also found out what a wad of cash really is.

What a memorable day :D

Thought I'd let you know the Alarm has stopped, I think I got away with it on mway with the noise, may also have got away with hazards flashing constantly because of the extreme rainy conditions. Once back in England it dried up a bit and it settled down trying to reset itself more succesfully. But hit a bump and off it went again ! once put away it shutup and didn't ouch it until Monday. Noticed key fob led was quite dim and bought replacement and its all been good since.

Sorry to shoot off quickly like that but the noise was driving me (and everyone else at garage) crazy so thought just get it out of there.

Thanks for the ride out, off down cornwall :) for a couple of weeks (in car :() so will hopefully be out for the cotswolds run

Regards
swainers

PS has anyone heard if Pebble got back ok

Hobbit (pilly with Pebble) has posted on here. DaddyCool has let me know on another site. He gave me a thumbs-up on the m-way then we went our own ways. He'll sort out the niggle I'm sure.

Might do this one again in September. It's bloody lovely in the sun.
