Are there any KTM 990 SMT owners here?

I have a 2012 model in White.

It's a KTM and has an LC8 engine, so it's good enough for me!

My housemate bought a 2010 990 SD last night! I won/lost 'Rock-Paper-Scissors' and ended up riding it back from Thatcham to Cullompton. Interesting ride!!

Cracking bike, a little more compact and agile than mine.

Got a 2010 SMT (black and white). Love it to bits. Last year bought a 1290 Superduke as well so I've gone the full orange.

Love KTMs.

In theory the SMT is for sale to trade up to an 1190 Adv for touring duties but I doubt I'll be able to afford it after a bad autumn work wise. So looking more likely the SMT will stay. If so I'll keep saving and buy an 1190 next winter. Then I'll have three.

Wouldn't mind a 690 Enduro as well for a bit of soft-roading..

What spec is yours Hallstar? Have you done any after-market fettling?

Sorry for late reply gents...

The SuperDuke I rode back is now up for sale already. Housemate has a bad back from military service and after 20 mins aboard the SD he knew it wasn't for him.

It's not my cup of tea either. I have poor hearing and wear hearing aids. I made an agreement with my audiologist to stay behind a screen as much as possible.

Anyway, I absolutely love my SMT and I can't find anything else (within my budget) that does as much as it does, as well as it does it.

Mine is a 2012my with Leo Vince cans, ITG air filter, Touring screen with spoiler, Orange KTM handlebar, Sump guard, RC8 Throttle cam etc.

I'm about to order some crash bars, heated grips, auxiliary lights and a centre stand.
