Hello from Tiverton

Hi.

I joined the board back in 2014 but never got around to introducing myself! I'm Rick and I'm based in Tiverton.

I've wanted to ride for as long as I can remember but life got in the way (as it does). Finally started riding about 8 years ago. I've not yet passed my test so I'm renewing my CBT every couple of years. I'm planning to try and put money aside to take it this year.

My bike is a 1979 Suzuki A100. Not so much a motorbike as a hairdryer with wheels! I love it and although I'm looking forward to riding something slightly bigger I won't want to give her up after I pass my test. She gets lots of admiring glances - mainly from middle-aged men who announce that they used to ride an A100 when they were teenagers. There's something very 'retro' about a real kick-start and the smell of two-stroke wafting on the breeze!

Get that big bike test done though and spread your wings a little ;)

Suzuki Man eh? Don't worry about passing your test. That A100 will beat most KTMs & Kawa's around these parts.
