Rideout - Sunday 26th May

Look in here for local ride outs...

Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

I'll be on my way back from Scotland that day so unfortunately will have to give it a miss. Sounds like my type of route as well! Have a good trip and maybe we can do it again later.

Just realised that this is a crack-of-dawn start, so shan't be able to make it.
Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

royb wrote: May 18th, '19, 10:03 For your perusal:
On the computer the journey is 92 miles yet if you press the link and send it to your phone or hudl*, it's only 63 miles.
Any thoughts?
Have done some research it appears that google tries to shorten the journey when transferring routes.
As Robbo's route crosses over at various points then Google Maps has a field day, and shortens the route by in this case a third, It always tries to make the quickest route.
A more direct route would probably be fine.
So if you have a smartphone, just click the link of the map on your computer (send to phone) and see how you fare when it arrives on your phone.

Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

Provisional list so far:

Robbo87
Ptolemyx
Shooey
Terry(?)
royb
Chr1s
Pebble
RyanSimpson

A TEC might be needed; an ideal postion to observe other rider's 'interesting' lines and manouvres without being the butt of wee-wee extraction later at the de-brief, any takers?
