Is everybody ok? Crash near Teignmouth

Hi everybody.

As I was driving home from Newton Abbott today the road from Kingsteignton to Teignmouth was closed. I have seen on Facebook that this was a bad accident involving 2 bikes and 1 car near "Jacks Patch". Never great news to hear about any accidents but when they are so close to home was concerned that it might be somebody from on here.

Anybody know anything about it? or were you involved? are you ok?

I've seen something on twitter, two people on bikes overtook on double whites, on the bend. A third trying to keep up tool the same route but ended up in the front of a car.

Apparently they ended up down the road in a hedge. First reports were of a fatac but i've not seen anything to confirm.

Never want to hear about anybody getting hurt but have got to say over taking on double white lines in a 30 zone on a blind bend on the wrong side of the road..... lets be honest you are asking for trouble. It this statement is a true statement then have to say its this type of riding that gives bikers a bad name....

I got stuck in the resultant traffic coming back from Teignmouth (work call out), I got past the closure by using the Weir Farm(?) Lane down and back up further along. As I came up there were two chaps looking like ghosts so I assumed it was a bad one but haven't heard anything more about it. Hopefully all were ok
