That's because they mainly use hedgerows to slow down.

Re: KTM brakes
I followed that story around the internet a little and read a bit more about it, seems to be mainly solicitor firms sharing it.Kata wrote: ↑Jan 16th, '20, 13:35 Interesting article about a case of KTM brakes seizing

It looks like KTM got caught off guard and took the wrong angle at the appeal, so lost.
One thing to note here is that KTM don't make brakes, they buy them in from Brembo. Maybe Brembo are crap at making brakes.
I suspect KTM took this up with Brembo who probably just wanted it to go away as it was likely a low value claim and not worth the bad press.
There have been other issues since with Brembo brakes too, and on the 990's I think. I remember reading that a particular batch of pads were defective and that the pad could de-laminate from the backing and then jam the wheel.. which is a nice thought to have in the back of your mind when tipping it in at the last minute.
More trouble than they're worth TBH these shonky KTM's.

Too be fair.
Brembo did put out a recall on Ducati, ktm, aprilia and some others as heard it was due to binding issues.
