Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

As you're heading east on the A30 I'll join you from the Honiton by-pass around 8.15 a.m.-ish. If I miss you there I'll catch up at the brekkers stop, which is . . . . . . ?

Hi Phill, hope you can make it. No idea what's up with google maps but we're not heading up the A30 in the morning. It show's that way on my phone with the link but on the lap top it shows it as I did it, out along the A3052. Bowd Inn if you like... 8)

Also watch for speed cameras on the 50 mph Bridport by-pass. A mate and I got our collars felt there on a Sunday in Ocotober 2018, a 'speed awareness' (ha!) camera van parked on the grass verge just down from the cafe and picnic area at the turning for Eype. Mate had the pleasure of handing over 60 beer tokens and taking a speed awareness day, I was invited to part with 100 BT's and had my licence autographed with the number 3.

In fact, thinking about it, watch out for plod throughout Dorset in general; in all my years of driving cars, trucks and bikes I've had more problems with Dorset police than all the rest of UK plod combined - fact!

The police are always out and about in Dorset on a Sunday. I was invited to a course when a camera van and a notepad holder saw be being extra cool one Sunday morning.

Dorset plod have always been keen but i had no idea they were as unfriendly as stated above, thats a lot of potential locations. They really have no sense of humour.

Plus Dorset keep any revenue from prosecutions. Other forces have opted into a national 'purse' Dorset opted out so you'll never get off a fine.

It's a fair game, we all push the limit of it most of the time, if you get caught, take it and accept it. We know the rules, we decide to break them, we can't complain when we get caught... Just saying :-bd :D
