You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Sunday April 5th - 'Sarnies and a Flask' run - POSTPONED

Post by Robbo87 »

I'm organising a rideout for Sunday 5th April depending on two main things working in our favour:

POSTPONED - OBVIOUSLY: Re-run date to be advised if/when it's o.k. and safe to do so.

1. New government legistlation severely restricting or banning rideouts doesn't get introduced and . . . . .
2. Weather.

Notes:
Route to be posted up soon but will be around 125 miles, start to finish.
Start time around 0900 hrs.
Bike numbers limited to a maximum of six. First come first served.
Riders to have full tanks at the start please, but there'll be a fuel stop if it's needed.
Riders and/or pillions to bring Sarnies and a flask, or whatever - we'll be stopping en route.
Not 125 friendly but not warp speed either, the NHS doesn't need more customers.

Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

If you make the start from Exeter at 09.00 I'm in. I'm finding it increasingly difficult to get going early enough to get to Tivvy or Honiton for an early start. I'm in work before 6am every weekday but struggle at the weekend!
Think it must be burnout....... or just age 👴

Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

If everyone kept an eye on the bike behind most rides would be 125 friendly, instead of fu%$ing off at light speed and then waiting half an hour at the road side to regroup. 8-}

Just a shame there aren't many to lead by example, all quick in a straight line and nowhere in the corners.
