On the spot fines.....

Post by Jay »

Be careful out there folks.....
Police are stopping and checking vehicles and Bikes so see if your journey is necessary .....
I got stopped this morning heading to work.. luckily i'm one of the key workers.........Armed forces :ymhug:

So if you are thinking about going for a blast.... think again as they are giving on the spot fines.

I did enjoy the rest of my ride in though :-bd

I was told yesterday that the job I only do part-time (vehicle recovery) comes under the 'Emergency Services' heading.
I was then asked to recover a dead Jeep Cherokee from Honiton with two people aboard and take to the wilds of east Dorset- so that got me out for the day :) . Think on the next shout I''ll use my bike to get to my tow truck and leave the peugeot at home :) :) .

No, but apparantly exactly that has happened.
My two sat in the crew cab bit with the windows open, one with a mask on nearly the whole trip. I didn't think I smelled that bad, I only had a shower last month!

Well being a Global Customer Logistics Manager for TNT and FedEx I am also allowed to get out and go into work if I want to as both of my customers also supply to the Healthcare industry and actually one of them has come up with one of the first testing kits for COVID19 i could basiclly travel where ever I wanted. So far I have managed movement from the bed room, to lounge, to spare room/make shift office. Most happy not looking to travel anywhere else until the bug fest buggers off.

So if you want a test these are the people to speak to
