Checking in at this time

Post by Red5 »

Hi folks, just wanted to put something out there for you all, nothing new but just to say

Take care and check in with your family and friends, send a pm to your mates on here or call or message them. If anyone calls, texts, messages you, contacts you with anything about this coronavirus, feeling anxious or even scared please please please have sympathy and empthy and be there for one another.

For what it's worth, I'm the biggest idiot on here but anyone is welcome to chat or contact me if they just want or need a sounding board to rant at, at this time of extraordinary circumstances.

:-bd :ymhug: :-c

Yup fully agree.

I am actually really into personality profiles and
For the "extroverts" within us this is going to be total hell that you cant get to see more people
For the "introverts" such as myself that love your alone time..... it will be hell being with out loved ones so much
For the "Thinking" among us your probably going to get really anxious about this
For those who are "Feeling" (clearly Nick) you will be worried about others and there well being.

I'm 'home alone'.

Had calls from 2 peeps that I haven't heard from in 3+ years asking if I was OK or needed anything. :ymhug:

I'm playing bridge and poker online and re-visiting Command & Conquer Also blagging shopping delivery slots.

...and bread baking. It's a black art but I'm improving.
Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

Glad to hear you're improving if nothing else Larry =)) keep in touch on here. However loose some friendships may feel, people care about each other, especially at a time like this.
Catch you once this shitshow has passed...
Take care buddy and enjoy your bread :D

Yep extroverts are stuffed. At a time like this it will be beneficial to all to know just how other peoples minds work, particularly those you are going to be confined with for a prolonged period. Just a little bit of extra knowledge regarding how they might be expected to act can provide useful understanding. For fun and entertainment get you and yours to take a personality test - we are definitely not all the same. Have fun with this:

If you come out as INTJ all this is hardly going to bother you at all, other types not so much and they will need special care.

Yes pretty good.
Mtb'ing ground to a halt after a fantastic trip to Finale in Italy in October, as mother-in-law had cancer.
Then the weather has been shit, so took up indoor climbing as well in January but of course that has halted too.

Must sell the YZF when this has all finished and start putting the MV back together.
