Week 5 down???

Post by Red5 »

Evening boys and girls, how's everyone doing?? Just clocking in to ask folks and checking on you all...looks like this'll be going on a little while longer so hope we're all keeping our sanity :o) ~x( x_x and sense of humour's in tact.
Just remember that folks are around for you if you want to message, chat, reach out to the pit of southwestbikers for support or to rip the piss, which ever floats your boat =))

Stay safe and take care everybody

Still doing jobs that I classas essential and leaving the less urgent ones. Cleaned my lockup out this week and found my track bike lurking under a tarp at the back. Will now get around to repraying bike that I was going to do three years ago.👍

Still working far too hard delivering all those essential items people need. Compost, top of the list, followed by grass seed, weedkiller and plants.

And no, I don't work for a garden centre. Just a national parcel company in the pocket of probably the largest garden supplies company in the UK, which, as nobody else is sending parcels out, can't keep up with demand and pretty much fill our warehouse with their crap!

But, I've requested lighter duties from next week, so looking forward to getting out on my electric mountain bike to do a bit of trail riding now the local lanes have dried up

Looks like a varied approach to dealing with it all. Sorry for the rain this morning, washed the car yesterday and left cutting the grass until today :D

Were you tested ? Before ? After ?

Do you know where it came from etc. ?
Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

no testing I had to self isolate, then phone 111 and get an over the phone diagnosis, but when you cant taste anything at all, go to bed cold wake up with the bed sheets soaked in sweat, and have a continuous cough that makes all your stomach muscles go into spasm...its pretty obvious something isn't right
guessing it came from work, I work on the new Hinkley Point build 5000 people of all races from all over the world all enclosed in a small area sharing buses, canteens, toilets etc...was bound to happen
