looking for a sports tourer any ideas
i am thinking i want a second bike to go with my Suzuki vl800 Volusia cruiser which i love .
but thinking about a first sport tourer so looking for a decent 2nd hand bike a 600cc to 750cc i think to start with
but as short in the leg i maybe restricted to what i can sit on and reach the floor
so any help on what to look for make year etc
will be most helpful and you never know i may even bring it out to next ride out
cheers in advance

Depends on budget but I had a Kawasaki Versys 650 and the previous owner had fitted longer dogbones which lowered the suspension. Dropped the forks through the yokes and even shortened the sidestand.
Frugal, quick enough and came with panniers and top box. Just found it a bit dull but it is very capable.

I would suggest you take a look at a Suzuki GSX600/750f teapot.. Low seat height 790mm extremely comfortable enough power and cheap as chips. Engines are capable of high mileage without issues and still plenty around. They manufactured them until 2005. Chuck a set of throw overs on them and a trip to Europe beckons.
Honda CB1000 GT (on order), Honda CB1000r, Aprilia Tuono V4R for the track, Yamaha RD250E,

Wish I still had the strength to hold it up - I'd have had another in a heartbeat. Had 2 Gen 1's, both Ivanised and fantastic sports tourers.
