Got an urge to do my favourite roads and places of north Devon... and there seems to be convergence of signs pointing to this Friday as the day to do that. The season is coming to an end so most of the tourist have buggered off home, and the weather looks very good for Friday. 8)

I'll be leaving Chard around 10:00 but could meet others at Bampton or maybe Wellington.
Initially winding my way up/over to Lynmouth for lunch.
Then onwards through Combe Martin and Ilfracombe and then down to Barnstaple (coffee/fuel stop)... and then on to South Molton and down to Crediton, finally up the lovely A3072 to finish at Tiverton McD's.

Gonna be a long ride on some great roads.
Not suitable for small bikes, pace will be brisk but I'm no Barry Sheene (that's how old I am).

Will post route up tomorrow if there's any interest, either-way I'm going... unless a delivery I waiting for on Thursday doesn't arrive, in which case I'll do this Saturday instead.

Could well be up for this, Rich, depending on whether I'm needed in work. Not done any extra for a week or so as it's quiet at the moment so if I'm free I'll meet you somewhere up the M5 corridor.

This is highly likely to be moved back to Saturday now as I've had no confirmation of 'out for delivery' so it's not likely to be today... but it's also possible that it's not even gonna happen Friday either.
Hopefully the tracking info will be updated soon so I'll be able to plan when to go out... :-?

Yeh, sorry about this but still no update on the tracking page so I think it'll be a Friday delivery now, so I've moved this ride back a day to Saturday.

Nah.. I need my fix, it's been almost 3 weeks since I was last out!
Won't be the last ride this year, unless October is rainy...
