Worldsuperbikes 30th June/2nd July

Post by Red5 »

:Thinking of a trip to Donington for the world superbike round. Go up on the Friday, camp, watch Saturdays quali, racec1 and support races. Then be there for the super pole race and main Race 2 on the Sunday. Haven't looked at camping yet but think it could be a good craic. Eat, drink, watch some 2 wheeled porn and eat and drink some more, bbq maybe. And eirher decamp and hone Sunday or sleep over and home Monday morning...
Just putting it out there as an idea... :-bd :-bd

Sounds like a plan Nick, but it's too soon after the Wales weekend for my piggy bank and my old bones couldn't cope with "basic" camping now.

Definitely not going to camp again in my life, and there's too much walking involved to get around the circuit for me. Did WSB and Motogp years ago and it was a laugh but I'll pass on it now.

Not done this in a long time and have really enjoyed the WSB this year there seems to be some really good action.

Might be up for this but would need to confirm nearer to the time as will be in the middle of holiday season and the wife gets priority if she wants to go away on holidays as this = track time for me ;-)

Not sure if I would want to camp or go posh and do local Premier Inn / Travelodge but would seriously consider figuring out a non motorway route and maybe riding up rather then driving up.
