where can I find parts?

Post by Simon »

Hi lads and lasses,
Need a bit of help, my daughter had her 50 stolen a few weeks back and bless the Plod they found it and we got it back, butchered and beaten. Now I’ve tried searching for parts but it appears it’s quite an unusual machine to get parts for. It’s a Sym Jet 50X sport 62 plate.
It’s not a pretty machine but it was getting her to work and around town and now she’s reliant on us driving her!
So my question is does anyone know a good place for spares or should we cut our losses and scrap it and try to find her something with more readily available parts!?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Well that sucks that the bike got stolen, good that you got it back though.

Shame the thieves weren't the ones battered and butchered.

As for the parts, i'll send this link over to one of our cleverer guys when it comes to parts compatibility.

Good luck I'm the meantime.

Maybe worth putting a list up of the bits you need.

Problem is with just saying parts could be anything.

If it is just to piece it back on the road then equivalent/useable alternative parts could be available at reasonable prices.
