For my claim in October, I was with Carole Nash, and their claim line also sent me direct to 4th Dimension. They did all the usual of offering a hire bike and storage etc. I had ridden my bike home after the crash, so knew it was still rideable, and decided to resist using 4th Dimension. They were pretty reasonable about this, and actually gave me the contact number for Ageas, who were the actual insurers.

Ageas were great, they quickly confirmed I could keep riding the bike, arranged for a local company to handle the initial inspection, for which I just rode into Bridge. The bike was still written off, but it remained available and usable right up to the point where Ageas paid out and collected it. I also think I got the settlement more quickly this way, but obviously can't prove it. I know that it was Ageas who paid me, and the settlement was very fair. The accident wasn't my fault so Ageas had to recover from the other guy's insurers, who were ridiculously slow to settle, and only did so after Ageas engaged solicitors to recover.
I'm not really grumpy, just misunderstood

I'd bet that also saved the 3rd party insurer some money too as they then wouldn't be paying for bike storage and additional admin fees.

Just found this review on Trust Pilot for 4th Dimension, no idea of it's real though.

As a previous employee of this poorly run company the things I witnessed while serving my time with them is shocking most of the technicians are unqualified they treat customer bikes like trash throw them about with the fork lift out back, they deliberately write bikes off to source parts for their other business stream they steal all the nice bits off bikes for their own if it matches.

While management turn a blind eye to poorly estimated bikes, one I spotted a triumph cracked side case full of mud engine had mud inside and required a full strip, naaa let's just run oil through it and hope it doesn't come back, some poor person is riding that bike probably has spun a bearing and detonated the motor.

The hire bike scam they do is a P take they flog them after being thrashed to death at a Honda dealer in Farnham another subsidiary to their business beware of buying 2nd hand bikes from there the list goes on and on

Gliddons just rang to say they've done their quote and the assessor is there now. If it's agreed they should have the parts next week and will progress it ASAP. 3rd party insurer is Ageas so all has gone well so far
