http://www.cia-insurance wouldn't give a quote due to modifications
http://www.virginbikeinsurance.co.uk wouldn't give a quote due to modifications

http://www.expressinsurance.co.uk wanted ?663

im with carol nash, played them off against CIA with their best quotes and managed to knock another ?100 off the best price. I have been warned that Carol Nash are a nightmare to get any money out of in the event of a claim though

Surprised that CIA wouldnt quote due to modifications Dave, they were fine with me and the only original bits of my bike are probably the frame, swingarm and fuel tank

It's different for everyone. I hunted around 20-30 places and found a place called Cofield the cheapest by far, same for Kelly. Other peeps have tried them and got poor quotes.

MCD were good for me, until I had an accident and now they wouldnt touch me.

I was with MCdirect but switched to carol Nash as it was cheaper to insure a 1K with Carole Nash than it was to insure a 750 with Mcdirect.

I think it depends on your circumstance as to who is cheapest for you.

This year bikesure gave me a very low quote for my 1K - ?210 TPF&T. Went back to carol Nash and told them I would drop them if they didnt come down - they instantly chopped ?50 from my renewel charge.

Also if you have a bike insured with Carol Nash worth getting them to quote your car to as they have that omni policy thing....

Their quotes for an alfa GTV Tspark for me where over ?300 cheaper than anyone elses.
