Not being funny here, but the reason the others are telling you to check your plugs, is because thats a way of seeing if the bike is running too lean, or too rich etc!c0xy_2003";p="35570 wrote:doh for like the 10th time, there are new plugs in it.
2022 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 & 2026 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster 1200
Restrictors on this type of bike restrict total gasflow volume...
Therefor I expect when they was fitted...no other adjustment took place...
Good advice on seeing if it's coked up...also check the plugs...chances are it's running too lean...espically with the K&N Filter.
If you got a digital temp gauge...if it goes above 100 when sitting in traffic your running too lean for sure!
R6's are a bit tricky...as 600cc inline-4 engines have relatvely small gasflow than say a V-Twin or inline-4 750/1000...so I think if it doesn't turn out to be something obvious...you really then need to turn to professional help to get it spot on.
A useful tool...if your good at being hands on with the bike is a colourtune kit...tells you alot about whats going on inside the engine
