theory test question

Post by chris_1127 »

i just did a mock theory bike test out of interest to see how i got on, and one of the answers i got wrong stumped me a bit - see the screen shot below. Has anyone else owned a bike with hazard warning lights before? i;ve never owned a bike where you can put both indicators on at once....

The Sprint ST has got'em too, but that is the first bike I have ever owned which has them. I think newer bikes are required to have them (the bloody EU i think!!!!)

Ahh, so it wasn't just me, i tried the same test a while ago and ticked the same answer and failed on the same question.
There are some questions in the test that require 2 or even 3 answers and i think that question should as well because what are you supposed to do if you don't have hazard lights there obviously has to be other options. :?

SV has it to, best bit is, if you break down and want to leave them on you have to leave the flipping keys in it. Pointless.

Old z650 etc had em, and loads of new bikes have them instead of a light on/off switch.
Also datatool alarms have that option - well mine does anyway

Tis a new EU rule thing that from 03 all bikes made have to have the lights on all the time so they put a switch for hazards there to make up for it
