Hmmmm,could be fuel delivery prob,or coils/spark plugs - i don't think your r6 is fuel injected is it m8? :?

If it wont even turn over, then battery would be the first thing to check.

I think I'd be right in saying that to eliminate the worst scenario...get the back wheel off the ground, put it in gear, and with the ignition off, turn the back wheel, this should turn the engine over, would be easier with the plugs out too..but apart from the mechanical side of a bike, trouble shooting electricals isnt my forte....sorry mate

If its pre 02 its carburatted.

Does the starter solenoid click??
Try bump starting it?
If not jump, leads.
When you try to turn it over do the lights dim?

George, when was the last time you serviced the bike? Sounds like you had a lot of unburnt fuel in the zorst and if your plugs are weak then they could be flooded from when you blipped the throttle.

On the other hand it could be any number of issues. Most jap bikes these days are quite reliable though so its probably not too serious.

Get it to Andersons motors in Saltash. Tell them I sent you and they need to sort it out. Good people who care about what they do and dont rip you off. 01752 851776
