We can't go if it aint a school holiday, as Marcus is at school (10 years old) and the wife is a lecturer at SCAT in Taunton.

We went in Sept (just after the kids went back) and it was busy enough then! School holidays must be stupidly busy.

I'll try to find out who done the package, We paid £50 for the whole weekend and that included a day trip upto Stratford, night in a hotel, full day at Alton Towers on Sunday then the coach ride back. I expect we'd need a full coach load to get the price anywhere near that though.

Oh yeah forgot to say, When we did the trip with work the coach actually went to Plymouth first and then to Exeter. This should cover most people.

Is every one happy for me to book it at the beginning of September, so Jay can come as he is always at sea when there is something happening, plus it gives me time to get deposits hotel and coach booked

What's with the coach....I thought we were a bikers site :?

Why not go up on bikes, explore the area a little, can still stay in a hotel rather than camping.

I can't commit until a date is set, so I'll wait and see what the consensus is.
