Hello Rookie and welcome to the site
Growing old is mandatory - growing up is optional.

Mixed opinions then! Must say I like the styling of the SV a bit more, especially with that little bit of lower fairing you can get for them; but the Hornet's high level can makes me sex wee. Change those to a dual Remus system or something, it's enough to make me cry.
Got a way to go yet; right now those are the 2 I'm seriously considering (at one point I was set on a ZX6R
- mad) so I expect it will come down to what I can find that's in a decent locality, for which I expect this place should come in very handy!

Hi and welcome, the SV is a good starter bike, cheap insurance, but i'd go for the Hornet.

hi mate - welcome to the site.
i had a k4 SV last year - was an awesome bike but you might get bored of it after about 6 months - MIGHT.
basically you cant go wrong with an sv or a hornet - good luck anyway.
