Miler - I have to confess that the bike in my avatar is not my bike, well not anymore. It was a very good bike and was my PAJ for the several years that I owned it.
But then I test rode this:
I want one,
i havent rode one yet, but looking forward to having a go on one

Noooo don't do it! Unless you can afford to change...
I rode to the dealer quite happy with my J and only went for a test ride because I was waiting for the MOT to be done and they happened to have a demo bike available.
After only a few miles I knew I had to have one and riding the J home afterwards it felt like a commuter.
Interestingly despite the slightly more focused riding position I actually find the C more comfortable, though admittedly I rarely do more than 100 miles without a break.
It also has a bucket more mid range and the handling is a dream - I am not a knee out style rider but I dare say it would be a piece of piss to get you knee down on one of these (if one is so inclined).
The only thing I have not been able to find out yet is how slappy it is - the summer was already pretty much over when I got it so I have not been able to really give it berries on anything that might encourage it to shakes its head.
