Cam Chain removal/Head removal

Any step by step basic removal of these bad boys?
Only removal at the mo as I will ask again when i need to put it back together, but basically it looks a bit complicated, but I would like to do it as I know its been done then, unlike when i got it "done" last time

So just need some help to get the cam chain off and the cams, but like tips on what to do and what not?
I know some basics but need reasurance

Get a Haynes Manual.

Cheers but mines a UK L model, trying to find a manual for that is like trying to find rocking horse sh*t!!

write down all your timing marks for the cams mate else you'll never get the timing right without the correct manual

Whats all these timing marks all about? I know to take the cams out it has to be TDC, and it is, but there is a mark on the bottom to mark that up?

p.S I still cant get these pissing cams out :@

http://www.motor-meet.nl/ZXR400/Manuals ... 00_h_4.pdf theres a guide to removing the top end on one here, cant see the H and the L being that different. shows you the positioning of all the timing marks too

Are you replacing the camchain? if not make some marks on the camchain and corresponding points on the cam sprockets, and just keep the camchain tied up so it doesnt come off the bottom sprocket and lift the head off around it. then just use the marks to line it up when you put it back together
