Can I just say I think it a bit of an over-reaction to ban him (without being shot down in flames) ?

Better to just stop flogging the dying horse and lock the thread :?

I don't know if it can be done with the software of this site, but on another I frequent it is possible for an individual to block out the posts of another member who's writing they do not wish to see. :D
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....

So? Ban him if you like, but you aren't gonna do anyone any favours. This shouldn't be a place where you have to watch what you are saying and tbh you are all giving as much as you are recieving.

This guy was upsetting people on every topic he posted on !

I did pm him asking him nicley to stop but he did not. he has the same reaction from peeps on VD !

We all take the pee out of each other for a laugh but he was just doing it to get peoples backs up.

all I can say is Good bye to him and good riddens !

Well if he was trying to get people's backs up it obviously worked. Why can't people take insults on the chin? Afterall it is just the internet. Nobody likes a keyboard warrior, if we had just ignored him or didn't react to what is apparantly an attempt to wind us up, he would have retreated back to his hole and perhaps, would have been a genuinely nice guy in real life.

He had been registered on this site for almost 2 years.

My own personal opinion is that a ban was over the top.
Just because a few people took his original post the wrong way and took it as a personal attack

whilst he didnt upset me in the slightest Ill back up admins decision to ban him.

That guy is clearly unable to frequent any forum without desperatly clawing for attention from the whole forum - whilst its amusing at the moment be sure it would have got tiring after a while.

Yeah well if supposedly the admins and mods reputations are currently in disrepute, it would have been a good idea advertise to any guests or surfers browsing the site to see that the moderation is fair and not over zealous. I am genuinely thinking of the site here.

clunk give the bloke the benefit of the doubt - ignore this thread and read some of his other posts - then look at his history on other forums.

this would have just been a never ending cycle. the mods just did the inevitable sooner rather than later.

Oh I don't doubt that, I've met many members and think that pretty much all of them are top people!
