Don't worry Laura i too like cruisers really....not sure if this is the right time to admit that though  ....Harleys are dope guys and you know it really, not quite as good as a sportsbike admittadly. I did like the comments about the saddlebags and its not a horse they are riding was pretty hilarious

I dont have anything against cruisers either, theres a time and a place for them admitedly.

Im hoping to go over to yankee land and do route 66 once I finish uni and i'll more than likely hire a cruiser to do it. That way I get the enjoyment of riding a bike and I get to sit back and relax on those long straight roads lol :D

Yeah exactly...a time and a place, perfect time and perfect place, and you could fill your saddle bags with sandwiches and juice 8)

Hey!!!

I ride a criuser and I'm not a fat middleaged bloke trying to re-live my youth......I'm a 20-something girl on her first big bike!

And it's not a Harley. It's a Triumph.

OK yeah it has too much chrome and is a nightmare to keep clean, but it's fantastic to ride. I've done 5000 miles in the last 8 months since passing my test and I would change it for anything.

I've lurked in this forum for a while...and this got me so riled I had to post a reply.

Oh yeah and for the record......no-one I know with a bike the same as mine is gay. Nor do they wear wacky outfits, just normal biker wear.

And I ride faster than my mate with a sports bike and he's been riding for nearly 15 years!

I don't get this thread!...........

This is a "Bikers" forum.

If you are a "Biker" you like Bikes.

All sorts of people ride all sorts of bikes, so what?

Why the need to slag off other Bikers?

:? :o  :?

I think some people are taking these threads too seriously!

Its all banter!!

Lets start a new thread slagging off a group of motorists that annoy everyone...... people who tow bl00dy caravans

Why not introduce yourself in the Intro section ?

A couple of people have done this type of thread now and its just a bit of fun. A bit of hamless biker baiting, taking the pi$$ out of each other. :D

I could turn round and say I don't like sports bikes....

But each to their own.

We all love our own bikes I'm sure.

I was just riled by the stereotyping...

Forgot to say earlier, I am giving up biking.
So what should I get, a cruiser or a Goldwing?

Buy a goldwing and you can still fit into the next two target categories ... towing caravans and Honda drivers ....
