Anyone got these??

Michelin 2ct's

Just had a pair fitted whilst she was in for a service. In our search for the perfect rubber i thought i would give them a try.

Never used Michelins before and exhausted Bridgestones, Dunlops and lately tryed the Diablo's.

Only ridden a single mile on these new ones so far (from garage to home) But the turn in you get is scarry. Need to invest in a set of rearsets now i think as the bike just drops quicker and lower then i have ever experienced.

Anyone got these on or tryed them yet as i was wondering what the wear rate is like and how quick they warm up??

spoke to steve today said he done your bike, 2ct are good mate, from what i gather the wear aint great on em, but think of the trackday, i know colin edwards did a test on em round a track and was only 5 seconds off the times he was doin on his slicks think it was in superbike magazine. theyll be worth it mate. im gonna use em as an intermediate tyre might use em on track day as they dont take long to heat up save using me tyre warmers

Look good but I expect the life is VERY short, not exactly something you need for commuting. I've just had a pair of Diablo Strada's fitted, profile and feel is identical to normal Diablos but they last longer, I think alot of it is purely down to the thicker tread, it's gone from around 6mm to 8mm.

The people I know who have the old powers fitted to TL's swear by them ... and say life is much better than bridgestones, etc., ... the 2ct's are supposed to be better still with hard centres and soft edges (sounds like a description of you mate   )

I had pilot race H2's on mine and they did 1800 miles

How much did they cost :?
