my mum has just rescued a little chick from her cat. what on earth do we do? :roll: :shock:

Stick it in the oven quickly before it gets to cold to eat.. :lol: :lol:

Neh, give your local RSPCA a ring and they normally will collect FOC

I would keep in untill it hatches. Put it on a pillow and sit on it for a couple of days untill the egg starts to hatch! then feed it to the cat as it will be more fresh i think.

they're a bird rescue place in ST ives, no idea where but dads taken bird they're before

Lucky to rescue it from the cat ours would hold on to itso hard yuo would not get it out of his mouth, mind you he is half feral cat, keep it warm and get it too a bird place, we tried to rescue one that our older cat presented us with last year, Angela spent ages feeding it porridge worms etc, was doing well then she fed it one day went back 10 minutes later it had dropped dead

Yeah i think there is, but i put a little bird in a shoe box once when it flew into our kitchen window....smashed its face up pretty bad actually. Anyway, put it in a shoebox with the lid off and sorrounded it with cotton wool, after a couple of days he was good to go almost. :?

yes very helpful guys....

anyways, mum put it back outside after reading wildlife book, next thing, there's 7 of em scurrying around! turns out we got a flippin pheasant farm in our back garden!!! there's been a pair of tame pheasants visiting her garden for a while...and now they're breeding!
course, being a veggie, mum wasn't at all impressed when i suggested a shooting party :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
