I'd still be inclined to find out why the oil spill wasn't cleaned up? Maybe have a claim from someone else, rather than losing your no claims, excess etc

Thats a fair point, see if you can shift it to someone else rather than loosing your own no-claims. Might well be able to do as well given the circumstances :? :wink:

WTF, did you actually read anything that was posted. An oil spill from a previous crash should have been sorted by the local council so not his fault.

Welcome to the site dood, definately think you should claim, I too am in the bike flipping club, but I stayed on the sucker lol :D

Definately make a claim against the council though.

Reminds me of an accident I saw at nurburg where 5 bikes went down on an oil spill that some guy had pissed all over the track just before they went out.

Sucks tho

A fellow biker goes down due to a diesel spill, and all you can think about is that it may put your premium up!? :shock:
