I wouldn't bother. Women can't ride for toffee.

Please re-read what I said about the female riders on here:
graham22 wrote: these (the women on here) are women who'd be riding bikes in all conditions regardless of their sex rather than those who are riding because 'it's what their fellas do & it looks cool'.
It's the latter that annoy me and probably annoy the real women bikers too; only talking from 25+ years of experience.

I just wouldn't encourage my other half into bikes if she wasn't already into them.

Well everyone to there own, i would not even consider my wife as a pillion, she hags on to the door handle in the car if i overtake on a motorway, she attempted to ride a CG125 once and gave up after stalling it 3 times, i was no where around my son was there , my daughter has a full bike licence she got it before her car licence, but has not ridden for several years now and would need some sort of refresher course i reckon, bikes are a bit smaller than oil rig supply vessels that ar computer controlled that she normally drives

i would encourage her to do it. if she has expressed an interest in riding then why quash it ?

kim has a bike, she can ride it, or not. yes when out with her i change my pace, but then when out with other riders don't we all change our pace ?

friendly ride anyone ????

i am sure rossi or guy martin would have to reduce their pace to ride with you - but you would still enjoy going out for a ride with them.

who knows, your respective partners could be faster then you and you might be worried.

if she has expressed an interest, follow it up

DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!!!! it was the best thing i ever done and absolutely love it!! I waited until I was 21 so I could do my DAS and because I was doing mini shows and stuff but I really wish I had done it before!

Again refer to my comment above, the girls on this forum would use their bikes because it's second nature to them rather than use the car (except for Beth because she usually has to fix her mini before using it - were you at Trevelgue last weekend Beth?).

Fuse lit, I'll stand well back now.
errr you cheeky sod!! i do not have to fix my mini everytime I use it!!!! but I do have the dilema in my spare time of deciding whether to take the horse, bike or mini out! lol

Yep I was at Trevelgue last weekend! Good weekend except not as many minis there as previous years!
