So it's the time of year I get my insurance renewal through the post and surprise surprise it's gone up nothing has changed except another year no claims gained .you make the call and it goes down why cant they just give you the best price in the first place and stop wasting my time and theres I cant be the only one who has to do this year after year.it really pi**es me off

It’s the same every year.
This year I got renewal quotes including the mods that have been done to the bike and it still came in cheaper than my renewal for my existing insurer.
Unsurprisingly I didn’t take up their offer.

About 10 months ago I was it from behind on the M5 going past Avonmouth. No fault was attached to me and I was paid out in full by his insurers. As a result both my car and multi bike policy have all been hiked because statistics say I am more likely to have another accident. Go figure that!

Had my multi bike renewal from Bike sure and gone up £50,so get on the phone to tell them that the bikes were unused for a couple months due to government guide lines regarding corona-virus and asked how much extra discount it entitled me too?.
This resulted in a long silence from the young lady from Bike sure and a dont know i will have to speak to a manager.This resulted in a £30 discount.
Decided to Mcn compare and ended up going with Bennetts who were offering
more extra bits and pieces thrown in and £127.00 cheaper than my renewal from Bike sure!.
What i dont get is im still with the same insurer Markerstudy ltd?

Actually got one of mine through today also, Bikesure... gone down almost £10!

I'll still run it through 'compare the market' to see but for this bike no one else seems to beat Bikesure.

In fact it must be my lucky day today as a torch that I'd bought from ebay (3 months ago) arrived, so as I'd already had a refund it's now a free torch.

I had to change last year, thanks to takeovers ..... Ended up with Bikesure, though didn't realise til too late that they're part of the Flux empire

Both fully comp, all mods declared to both circa £240, so not too bad....

Just a word on MCE I used to be with them but there policy will repair back to stock parts only so if you have spent big money on exhaust systems etc then it will not be covered in the event of a crash. If this is ok then but for me and my old Gixxer it was so tricked up didn’t work for me.
