not really bike related

Post by Red5 »

Hellooooo boys n girls,

Hope everybody's doing well during this lock down and keeping smiling.
Looking forward to a summer of organising and joining ride outs with all you crazy kids.
Some of you will know but I am currently mending from carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel decompression operation so won't be on the bike anytime soon :(
But hoping we'll soon enough have our vaccines and even be allowed out to play.

Looking to run a few favourite rides, including early morning breakfast ride to Poole.
North Devon Breakfast ride to Hartland.
Some shorter routes and even some longer routes.
As well as exploring new routes, or same routes the other way round... :D

Hope you recover quickly Nick.
I too am dreaming of the day when the bike gets pulled out of the garage again, not for a couple months yet though I reckon.

I just hope that this lockdown ends before the start of the better weather, as last year it was painful. Weather was nice and the figures looked good but the lockdown remained in place. I was chomping at the bit big style.

Gws Nick, now find a hobby that doesn't involve lots of wrist and arm action.

Looking forward to getting out on Road, off Road bugger or either.

Not missing much this time of year Nick. Not trying to boast but I've had carpel tunnel ops on both wrists
.. :-)

Huge difference the next day.

Like John, I've had both wrists done but not both at the same time. Recovery was really quick and being able to feel things properly and without pain was wonderful. You should be back to 100% in no time. I'm on the list now for a hip replacement but don't expect that until way in to '22 - if I'm lucky.
old and disgraceful so doing what I can while I can before I can't
