Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.

Short notice - Rideout Sunday 29th sensible time(!)

Really fancied going on Nick's early ride but that's just too early for my aching bones, so I'm leading another one starting at 08.30 from Bridge M/Cs in Exeter.
Heading east hopefully for a bite to eat and watch the Top Gun wannabees at Compton Abbas airfield 8-|

Should be about 2ish hours to get there - maybe a bit more if I get lost. So should be back in Exeter by mid afternoon at the latest.

All welcome, but I will probably be in Courier Mode so won't be hanging around. And I hate tourists, so won't be cutting them any slack :twisted:

What I mean by that is I'll be stopping in random places and taking chances for pee stops at short notice!

See you guys in the morning. Unless there's any more takers posting on here it'll just be the three of us leaving at 08.30 and picking up Alan at 09.30, on the coast road to Abbotsbury

Well done Andy very entertaining morning ride up to Compton Abbas. Good company and some nice sweeping roads. Well done to al and bri (old timers) for joining and not taking to many pee stops. 😁

Cheers for coming, guys. Despite meticulously planning a route on the Garmin yesterday, today it decided it was going to do it's own thing, so I missed out on some planned roads, especially on the way back. But, mainly, we made progress and didn't get split up for long, even through towns.
