Was ringing around for quotes today.
Remember this detail... I WILL be 17 on a BANDIT 600, with 1 years no claims with it garaged, in a good area.
Many gave me quotes over the £1000 mark. Then out of the Blue Motorcycle Direct my current insurers came up with the price of £260 TPFT!!! with a £400 excess! I'm in heaven, £260 at my age on a 600. Woohoo!

I found them the cheapest when I first took out insurance on my SV, but come renewal time beware.
They kept my premium the same despite 1 years NCD and almost doubled the excess
I got a much better deal somewhere else, now 2 years on with 3 years NCD I pay £178 fully comp, with £250 XS.

I thought i was going to be shafted when i went to insure my GSXR1100. I was just outside keeping my no claims bonus, but I got it down to £176. Carol Nash used to be cheapest for me but they were a long way off this time.
