Mileage?

Post by Frazla »

Ive had my CBR600 for a year and done around 13,000 miles and its not my main mode of transport. My 400 i had for a few years and put on over 30,000 km.

I usually get in a few holidays down the south west of France in a year which adds a bit but having a look at other bikes of that model my mileage is already more than most i see. It doesn't bother me, because id rather be riding than it sat in the garage for the occasional Sunday blast. Just surprised as so many seem to have such low mileages.

What sort of mileages do you all do :?:

Done about 2k in 3 months of ownership, so translates to 8k a year if it stayed the same. Its 95% pleasure, not commuting, so lets hope I can keep it below 5k or so for insurance purposes.

Just checked mine and last June when I got it MOT'd it had 12,500 on it, now it has 19,000, so that's 6,500 in just over 10 months  , good job I upped my mileage limit on my insurance :? ....

Must be all these rideouts I keep going on

I used to do about 10-15k a year, But now down quite a bit on that, thank god.

I've done 3,500miles since since Oct, Thats just under 16,000 on the ZX6R now.

Done about 0-22,500kms on the RS125, 18,000-48,000kms on the NC30, 12,000-22,500 miles on the GSXR750.

I do approx 3000 miles in 5 weeks...

Hence I got the TL...needed something that could take the miles..but still offer performance :)

That mileage isn't always that high...done alot of motorway miles lately....

Fun riding about all yr when on my 400...did about 10k miles a yr :)
