goign a tooth down on the front sprocket

Post by watters »

i would recomend this to anyone!!

i bought some renthal chain and sprockets with -1 tooth on the front and the difference is amazing.

me and a mate on another r6 done a roll on in 6th gear from 50mph, mine went flying past him as if it was a r1!!

well happy with it, doesnt seem to have affected my top end much either and it loves to pop up off the throttle in second :D

Me too, Since I rarely use the topend, never maxed it out (Well had 71MPH once)
The only thing that puts me off is the speedo being off slightly.

I think I'll be leaving mine standard.

If I want to accelerate hard at 50 I'll just change down, and it revs fast enough as it is while doing high speed.
Havn't found it too slow yet

BUT

I think Jean Luc has done it on his R1 and likes it.
