Devon & Cornwall Police - 1 Sonic - 0!

Post by sonic »

Plympton police are happy to annouce that the individual who refers to himself as 'sonic' who has been plaguing police in the plympton area brandishing an offensively illegal number plate has finally been caught!

Failing to catch the aforesaid villain on the road, officers slyly hid on stake out at the Chaddlewood garage - intelligence pointing to the fact that the suspect must obtain fuel for his law-breaking rampage at some point.

It was later on that day that the criminal was seen, astride his vibrantly coloured japanese sports motorcycle. It was then that the action started - as soon as the motor had been switched off and the officers felt fleeing was no longer a likely senario, the two officers surrounded the suspect and escorted him back to their vehicle.

At this point the suspect would like to thank the support he received from the ladies working in the garage who lined up by the window as he passed shouting and making various hand gestures at the officers!

The criminal was then cautioned and told he might be arrested for this most hanous of law flauting!

After about 20 minutes in the back of the car and the compulsory lectures the criminal was allowed to go and told to remove himself from the sight of the law abiding crowd that had now gathered in the petrol station.

On this note the police left fearing reprisal from the angry mob and a few minutes later the criminal departed in the opposite direction to the cheers and waving of the ladies in the garage!

On a serious note though they were good blokes and I'm not bitter - could have cost me a lot more than 30 quid!

NOW THAT WAS AN EXPENSIVE TRIP TO JASPERS TODAY! :D

Good to see they do sometimes act on tipoffs

Serves you right for using the most expensive garage in Plymouth.

If you think its worth £30 a year in number plate tax then that's your choice.
