I'd love to do that! Have an advanced lisence... awesome.
It says you get insurance discounts - but in all fairness what's a greater benefit than making you a better rider?

I did one in Plymouth back in April with the local IAM group.
I thought the assessed ride would be with one of them but got a bike cop instead, he was a nice guy and gave me a few pointers and said I was 90% there for passing my advanced test.

So I joined up and have just started having observed rides.

If you want to learn a few safety tips which could save your life its well worth doing.
