Hi from North Bristol

Hi all
Just stumble across your site whilst looking for bike races/events around Bristol in the next couple of months that I could take the kids to!

I’m also interested in any regular runs that people might go on, or people might be looking to go on?

I work at Hewlett-Packard which is in north Bristol and we sort of have the remains of a bike club that used to involve the MOD as well. In the good old days there were about 20 of us that used to go out ever Wednesday evening for a blat..! These days there are about 3 to 5 of us who still go out on Wednesday evenings. I’ve got a Hayabusa and the others are on stuff like ZX9, ZX10, and Fireblade’s so we make good progress ;o)

If you’re in North Bristol (Filton) and currently hold a run on Wednesday evenings or you fancy joining one then shout out! Assuming it ever stops raining of course! lol

So from the little look I’ve had around the forum am I write in saying you guys are mostly around Exeter Plymouth kind of area?

I'm from Hartcliffe / Withywood originally and now in Barnstaple, we have around 30 members from Brizzal but they dont seem to stay long

, probebly a distance thing. I come up to Brizzal about twice a month still, to see my 6 other brothers and sisters and my parents who all live in Brizzal, Knowle, Highridge, hartcliffe, Withywood, Clutton, Chedder etc etc.

Ref the track days, yeh its all about the price, we hire Llandow for the whole day for just SWB and we get it for 55 squid each and thats 7 x 15 min sessions, and we try to base it around Novices as its not really a full blown circuit track.
