MotoGP Phillip island

Post by Blimey »

Its Stoners home race this weekend folks.

PHILLIP ISLAND

Its an early one so set your clocks and hopefully see Rossi at least stop him winning on his own turf.

Rossi and Vermullen will be running different livery (paint jobs)

Sheene paint, awesome, I saw a pic of one recently and if i ever have a gixxer, it'll be going straight on.

I'll be very suprised if Rossi doesn't do at least some sort of tribute to him.

theres soom good sheenes and bad sheene reps. some of them are just cashing in on the name some are good copies. unfortunately the bikes are so different in shape to the old bikes that they dont look right.
i'd like a black akai rep r6 that should look good

The red and white Rossi scheme is nothing to do with Fiat - like Ferrari they actually raced in blood red originally, though most remember the white/green/red Alitalia schemes of the rally cars.

The Rossi scheme is the Sheene Akai Yamaha colours ......

the rossi scheme is to celebrate the relaunch of the fiat arbarth brand and has no reference to sheene but that old sheene bike is stunning, much better looking bikes than nowadays

I would say so, unless its Sheene's birthday?

It's not like he was born in Oz is it. Bloody Aussies, coming 'ere, taking our jobs. Did I mention that they haven't beating us in a rugby world cup since about 1991?

I think Stoner should do a lap of honour on a kangaroo and then play the national anthem on a didgeridoo - hey, that rhymes!
