so, the UK donated a total of over £113m in aid to Sudan in 2006/7. A British teacher calls a teddy Mohammed, after a boy in her class; and not only gets 15 days in prison, but has crowds of the general public on the street protesting that she should face the firing squad, and chanting "shame on the UK" How does that work then? It's got me stumped Think of how many asbo's that money could have funded...

I always wanted to get a boxer dog and call it Mohammed for comedy value - got the idea after working in a pub that had a white boxer called Henry (cooper) not sure its such a good idea now. I might just call him Jesus instead, cos he's not just for christmas . But I bet the god botherers don't take to the street and try to get me shot or locked up....

Typical isn't it. They (muslims) expect us to respect their culture in their countries, and that's how it should be. I'm belive in the saying 'When in Rome do as the Romans do'. But do they respect our culter when here? Do they F@*k.

Like said we try to help them and look at the thanks we get. I wounder how many young Iraqi men are over here getting free home comforts while are boys are out there dieing for THEIR country. Good job our boys didn't leg it to Canada at the first sign of trouble in the second world war.

from what i have read in the papers (which may be slightly untrue) the teacher was NOT the one which named the teddy.it was a boy in her class so why isn't he being lashed.seems like double standards to me!!

What's really wierd is that they're not allowed to call things Mohamed, yet the boy in the class was If he drew a picture of himself and then wrote Mohamed underneath could he be locked up? So basicaly if you're called Mohamed and you want to do a self potrait your screwed

i think she should have been banged up and accept as thats the rules in the country,she allowed the class to name the teddy monhammed and thats her responsibility so she must take the blame. steve mclaren took the blame for our shit footballers so she must take it for her pupils,she could have said NO

now before you all shout at me,my reasoning for this is that as we obey their rules when were out there they must obey our rules and culture over here. now we have a good reason to cleanse the country and get rid of all the illegals and immigrants and make OUR country great again. we now have the opportunity but i bet the government dont take advantage of it,if they did i would finally vote for them

I see the argument from both sides, but think the whole thing has been blown out of propotion. Seems to me like whtever she (the teacher) did, they would have found something that broke the rules. Cant imagine what it must be like being kept in a prison over there.

or is that me not quite grasping the whole (pointless) reason of (blindly) following a bunch of (outdated) rules written down by a (made up) idol many thousands of years ago. that (to me) seem only to keep its (brainwashed) followers happy and living in (fear) harmony (ahem) until its 'their time' (big truck, small road) or they pi$$ off said idol and he 'recalls' them.

At the end of the day if you choose to live in a country then you must obey its rules. The only shame is that you cant kick out the idiots. We employ people from all over the world cos the lazy shiites in the local town and city cant be bothered getting out of bed to do a days work.

Thank god/ mohammed/ allah/ jehovah for people with standards who want to contribute to the economy of our country and lets send the idle crap that was born here back to theirs!
